Giovanni grew up between Italian tailoring and the street culture that surrounded it. Neither world has ever fully claimed the work, and neither was ever supposed to.
Couture supplied the discipline: hand construction, single-hide logic, the refusal to subcontract. Street culture supplied the attitude: damage, hardware, volume, provocation.
The objects belong to both and answer to neither. That tension is the brand — not a palette, not a logo, and certainly not a season.
“The collision was never meant to resolve.”
